I personally have a TiRant 45 and 45S, the older generation to this and they are great options.Ģ. You can shoot everything from 9mm to 45 in this, which I highly recommend. The pistons, 3lug, and other add-ons are in plentiful selection now that the move to Alabama has been completed and production has ramped up again. This modular can allows for short length for ease of use and weight reduction or longer length for noise reduction. The newest member of the family is the 45M. AAC TiRant 45M - The TiRant is perhaps still the king of overall value. Thus, the list (in no particular order, if it is on the list, it is good to go)ġ. Therefore, dedicated pistol/rifle cans would be my recommendation. While the multi-use cans out there are beginning to expand, seeking to capture the first time buyer that thinks they will just buy one and then not worry about it, they have limitations on what they will suppress (barrel lengths, loads, etc.) Second, I will tell you that a jack of all trades is a master of none. Only by bringing new owners into the hobby will we be able to preserve our rights. Ask away I got other cans OSS, SilencerCO, Dead Air, Sig Silencers, AAC, etcįirst off OP,thank you for looking into silencers and planning to join the ranks of NFA owners. Omega bad is you will want to buy specific end caps for the caliber you use for "best sound reduction" A safety per say Sig made so that you wouldnt put a 556 silencer on a 762. Bad side to the Sig is the mount if you was to buy another Sig silencer say in 762/338 the mount will not work. As for being the lightest and short in length the contenders are Sig 556, Silencerco Omega. In my experience I disliked my surefire can. Look at one company you want to stay with for a mount, you mentioned QD over direct thread. 22-45 and 300 subĥ.56 silencer the all mighty mystery. Dead Air is finally catching up, but still waiting. Yes I have both I lean towards the rugged due to its mounts, most of silencerco stuff fits and readily available for purchase. I have multiple silencers and everywhere you ask it will be on personal experience.ĩmm I would get a Modular 45 can Dead Air or Rugged due to end caps being interchangeable and length also. I just don't have any experience with them other than caliber specific applications, and those made M4s as quiet as a BB gun. If you say, it takes 2 individual cans to get this right.I understand that too. isn't even the worst dB reduction among the best cans such a huge difference compared to no can? If it's a slight dB gain to stay with one can.I'll take the increased noise. I want good dB reduction, as quiet as possible given these other considerations. If there is a big variance in size and weights vs dB performance reduction. If it's obnoxious huge and heavy, probrably wouldn't use it as much. ![]() I want to do this once, be right and be done with it. or difficult to repair(internal parts need repaired/replaced but welded shut) I want no part of it given all the work and long waits to do the paperwork to replace. Yeah.Very much appreciate your feedback and experience m.Ĭost is least important, I don't plan to buy many, max would be 2. However, if they made a crowned endcap, the damage to the tube would not occur under conditions of being dropped and it would not have to go back to the factory for repair. Kudo’s to them, it’s fairly rare to see that. IIRC, they turned it around the same day. I experienced that scenario and Rugged were absolutely fabulous throughout the whole process. The only solution is to send it back to Rugged for repair. That will dent the front of the tube, you won’t be able to unscrew/remove the front endcap and you won’t be able to get it apart. If you drop it, it will invariably land somewhere along the edge of the front tube. There is one issue that does make me nuts and that is the lack of a crowned endcap on the front tube. ![]() The design, materials and Craftsmanship are first class. You can also split apart an extension cord and install a switch/outlet combo in between so that the extension cord still acts as normal, but it now has a switched outlet connected to it that you can plug anything into and turn it on and off with the switch, using the wiring method in the previous paragraph. For example, my shop vac is tucked away under by workbench, so I have one of these switches to easily turn it on and off without reaching under the bench every time. This isn't as common of a scenario around the house, but it could work great out in the garage or workshop if you want an independent receptacle that can easily be turned on and off at will. Lastly, you could have the switch control just the outlet and nothing else. You can also wire it up so that the switch controls the outlet and the light it's connected to, which may be useful if you have a lamp plugged into the outlet. On one of the other ToB threads awhile back I ran some numbers on a warblade spamming Time Stands Still versus a fighter full attacking, and the deficet the fighter needed to cover with his unspent feats wasn't nearly as great as I thought. The warblade is probably less broken than it looks at first glance. Plus since the swordsage recovery method kind of sucks and they can only ready one copy of a manuever, it seems likely they'll burn through their better moves rather quickly - or they'll won't have the chance to use their larger array of manuevers. And Greater Flurry is no small thing either. My monk ended up using pretty much all of his combat abilities at the same time, while the swordsage can generally only run any one of his stances, plus any one of his strikes, plus any one of his boosts at any given moment. Feats (in order): adamantine body, power attack, psionic weapon, deep impact, improved flight, flyby attack, psionic meditation. Classes (in order): warblade, divine mind (freedom mantle), fighter, warblade all the rest. Race: dragonborn warforged with the flight option. While monk abilities are generally less powerful, they easily work in conjunction with each other. Heres the build that Im seriously enjoying at the moment. There's often a significant opportunity cost to using a manuever since many replace your normal attack action. Magic Weapon is good if you dont have one and are. I guess my main question here is: "What does the WB lose to gain the "Battle" abilities and the maneuvers and stances?" Bladesinger Wizard Spells Shadow Blade is an amazing spell for Bladesingers, but requires concentration. Each is the equivalent to a spell or psionic ability. But these things are not just “sub-“feats. They are very _cool_ abilities, and I can't wait to see 'em in practice. And given my read through, they at least tie the Ftr bonus feats in power. **The maneuvers and stances are what “match” the Ftr bonus feats. If the associated skill of the discipline is not already a class skill for warblades, it is a class skill for your warblade levels. ![]() Does the Ftr have anything to match this? Feats, I guess. ![]() **The "Battle" class abilities are good stuff, but not over-the-top. Not only can you take the Weapon Specialization feats (which normally only a Ftr can take), but you can shift that Weapon Focus feat to whatever weapon you happen to have on hand. **In some campaigns, Weapon aptitude is huge. The tumble skill alone is worth the whole fighter list. **The WB has a better skill list and skill points than the fighter. Good Fort, Poor Ref & Will Good Fort, Poor Ref & Will |
